Requirements

Python 3.10 or newer to run the validator. No package installation, marketplace account or network access is needed to validate a local catalog.

License

One buyer may use and modify the pack for unlimited own and client catalogs and distribute the resulting catalogs. Resale or redistribution of the pack itself is not permitted.

Validation is structural. It does not verify product rights, factual claims, live checkout behavior, license sufficiency or delivery availability.

Common questions

Does this publish my offer automatically?

No. The validator runs locally and makes no network calls. The included mapping and checklist help prepare a listing, but you control publication and credentials.

Is this a new interoperability standard?

No. It is a focused starter convention for consistent seller metadata, with an explicit field contract and deterministic validation.

Does a valid catalog guarantee discovery or sales?

No. This pack does not guarantee indexing, marketplace acceptance, traffic, conversion, revenue or sales.
